Gill Netting, Hook and line, Potting

Jonny has grown up around the small fishing community of Mullion and accompanied his Father out to sea from a young age. He moved to London to study at university, and then worked there for 12 years, finally giving into the desire to return home in 2020 and turn fishing into his primary career. He follows in his a Fathers footsteps and takes great pride in keeping the traditional fishing heritage in Mullion going.

He refers to himself as a small scale inshore fisher, providing top quality day caught fish and shellfish, supplying directly to consumers, chefs and fish merchants.

Jonny, believes good stewardship of our fisheries is key in creating sustainable, well managed and healthy seas, which not only benefits the marine environment but also our Cornish fishing industry and its future fishers.
