Cornish Seaweed Company

Description

Here at the Cornish Seaweed Company we hand-harvest a variety of Cornish Seaweeds for use as a superfood. We are certified organic, meaning that our seaweeds come from clean waters and are harvested with care for the environment.
We are a small team that go out and freedive and handcut the seaweeds from the best locations from the West Cornish Coast.
Our innovation and hard work has been recognised by having been nominated Cornish Business of the Year in 2015 and have won the Cornwall Sustainability Awards for best contribution to a sustainable food economy in 2016.
Seaweeds come in a variety of colours, tastes and uses. They can be used as a flavour enhancer in soups or stews, as a vegetable or pasta alternative, or simply sprinkled on food as a condiment.
We supply fresh and dried seaweeds to restaurants, manufacturers, wholesalers and shops, as well as on our online shop. Our customers include Nathan Outlaw, Jamie Oliver, River Cottage and Wholefoods Market.
