Gylly Beach Cafe

Gylly Beach Cafe

Description

Wonderfully positioned on Falmouth’s famous Gyllyngvase Beach, overlooked by the imposing Pendennis Castle and central to panoramic views of the Lizard Peninsula and The Helford River, Gylly Café is a unique, stylish and popular eatery. Family-run and award-winning, our café offers a warm welcome outstanding service and locally sourced food, served in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

‘Soul, spirit and smiles – that’s the Gylly family in a nutshell. We’ve come a long way since opening beachside back in 2000, but one thing that hasn’t changed is the excellent service, which keeps our customers leaving with a smile. If you’re happy, we’re happy!’

17 years and a refurbishment later….

‘Today we’re still the same lively bunch, loving what we do – we couldn’t ask for a better Cornish, beachside location. Our journey started in 2000 with husband and wife team Simon and Viv transforming the venue into a contemporary and popular eatery, passionate about customer experience and getting the best out of Cornwall’s rich and diverse ingredients.’

We’ve always thrived on a full house! That’s probably why here at Gylly, we’re open 364 days a year… Our lively café is managed by Mark and Amy who keep all hands on deck and head chef Dale McIntosh (previously at The Merchants Manor & The Pandora Inn) is forever cooking up a storm in the kitchen, crafting our fresh and local ingredients into delicious, innovative dishes.’
