Sardine ring netting is a growing fishery in Cornwall and one that has caused controversy recently amid reports of discarded fish and potential for by catch of cetaceans. With the second national lockdown now in force there has never been a more important time for us all to support our local fishermen. Restaurants having to close means that prices have crashed and many fishermen, particularly the ones who fish the most sustainably really need your help. Last time we had a lockdown the public were amazing and they rallied to support the fishermen and we hope that you will all do the same again!
